AOE or Age of Empires is considered to be the best RTS or
real time strategy game ever. Back in 2000’s the game also attracted several
events and competitions in which players participated from round the world.
Though its popularity has dipped due to advent of new RTS games such as
Starcraft which offers better graphics, storyline and characters, many still
consider AOE to be one of the pioneers in RTS games and the best one till date.
